How we hire

newt lab grows at the pace of the work, not the other way around. We are research-first: people are hired because the engagement book and the publication cadence demand another researcher, never to hit a headcount target. That means hiring here is rare, slow, and specific — and it means the people you would work with have time to do the work you would join for.

There is no recruiting pipeline behind this page. Applications are read by researchers, and the interview is a technical conversation about work you have already done in public or can talk about honestly, not a puzzle gauntlet.
